Food Frames: Take 15
Mar 29, 2008 Apparently, not many people found this joint to be "to their taste"...
Okay, so I have to be honest and admit that it wouldn't really be my blog if I didn't reserve one area for my "opinions" and "rants". Essentially this is the wine crate I stand on to pronounce my views on current food-related issues, news items and other aspects I find worthy of discussion.

Mar 20, 2008 I'm all in favour of saving time and abbreviations, but this is neither. This is just plain laziness... And the W. is supposed to stand for white, because the packages over had G. and the green variety inside...
Mar 12, 2008 There are certain things that one should never be able to purchase by the kilo or by any weight for that matter...
Feb 23, 2008 Really, if it's going to be just like at my house, then I might as well just stay home... At least then I can enjoy it in my pyjamas...
Feb 16, 2008 I think everyone should have one of these in the kitchen - it's clearly the only tool you need... The function knife does it all! Funny, I must have missed the infomercial for this one...

Ok, maybe if it's served with luxurious toppings like wild Irish Isle pickles, mustard ground in Bavaria between 500 year old stone wheels and ketchup made from the original heirloom variety of tomatoes from an obscure Mexican town. Even then, I can't ever see myself fawning over the delicate structure, flavour combinations and texture sensations of a wiener.
Dec 2, 2007 Logic might guide you to consider that if you drink beer, it is preferable that you not take your car and attempt to park it under a bridge...
Nov 23, 2007 In consequence to this bakery's statement, I just have a few questions for other bakeries. If you aren't exclusively using flour, what else are you using to make bread? Even if you're making gluten-free loaves, you're still using rice FLOUR, no? Just how concerned should I be about the other bakeries and their use of non-flour to make bread?...
